With Patch 3.3 looming, and a suspected release tomorrow, I have updated some key ret pally pages on the site. Nothing is 100% for sure until we see the patch notes, but information on the following pages should be set in stone, as the info remains unchanged from Patch 3.2 to Patch 3.3:
- Ret Paladin Stats
- Ret Paladin Gems
- Ret Paladin Enchants
- Ret Paladin Glyphs
- Ret Paladin Talents – (UPDATED 12/12/09)
The FCFS rotations do change with some Tier 9 and 10 set bonuses. Check out the FCFS page:
I am waiting to update a couple posts to see how a little playtime affects the information. The following pages will be updated within a few weeks of Patch 3.3 release:
Keep checking back here and I will try to have as much information updated as quickly as possible.
Patch 3.3 brings us a few changes as Paladins in general, and very few Ret Pally changes. Our gameplay will remain unaltered for the most part. Our FCFS rotations are still the same, and our basic approach to all aspects of Paladin DPS will transition infull to 3.3.
Divine Sacrifice is taking a hit, and even though it’s a Protection Tree talent, it’s something most of us have with our current tree set-ups. That will factor into raid-wide survival tactics, but it doesn’t really modify our DPS, which of course, is our main function. But the Divine Sacrifice ‘nerf’ is not to be taken lightly, because it will affect how some guilds approach certain encounters.
