Retribution Paladin head gear is current for Cataclysm. I have compiled a list of head slot gear pieces Ret Paladins can acquire, and will continue to build upon this list as we further ourselves into the Cataclysm expansion.
I have listed the helms into a Best in Slot format, with the best pieces listed at the top. I am trying to factor reforging into this, but ultimately, the original primary and secondary stat prioritization usually wins out.
For instance, two head pieces with equal strength may have 80 crit and 80 mastery, or 80 hit and 80 mastery. The hit takes priority over crit, unless hit capped, at which point the crit piece would jump ahead. Reforging adds a minor adjustment in most cases.
This information may not be entirely accurate or complete in the early stages of Cataclysm, and I will continue to make adjustments as data is released.

- Reinforced Sapphirium Helmet – (Heroic)
- Helm of Maddening Whispers – (Heroic)
- Dragon Bone Warhelm* – (Heroic)
*Dragon Bone Warhelm- This is a tank piece, mainly due to the stamina socket bonus. However, if there are no other options, it can be used by a Ret to reach Expertise cap. Both normal-mode lvl 359 DPS helms would surpass this in priority.

- Dragon Bone Warhelm* – (Normal)
*Dragon Bone Warhelm- This is a tank piece, mainly due to the stamina socket bonus. However, if there are no other options, it can be used by a Ret to reach Expertise cap. Stonemason’s Helm would take priority over this, and Anomuran Helm comes about even, depending on if you need to reach the Expertise Cap.
