Shadowsong Games Week 5
Alright, week 5 for my Games and Quests for the US Shadowsong server. Remember, anyone can play. Horde and Alliance both. If you are not on Shadowsong, but would like to be, or would like to participate, you will have to have a toon on the server. If you’re looking to get a fresh start on a new server, here’s a great chance to get a nice kick start.
As I prepare for a bigger prize for Thanksgiving, I will continue to dish out at least 500g a week. This week, I have a task involved, so good luck for those that want to participate.
Alright, now time for this week’s rules:
For this week, I am offering 500g! To claim this prize, you must be the first person to send me the following item sent to my mailbox on Khor:
Winner will be the first person to mail me this item. All other items mailed to me afterward will be ‘returned to sender’.

I know this is the incorrect place to post this comment, but I wanted to be sure that you saw it, and I thought this would be a good place …
I just recently (in September) returned to WoW after about a 9-month hiatus. I previously had leveled my first toon, a shadow priest, to level 80, but then stopped playing when I reached endgame. Last night, I leveled by ret pally to level 80 … and, as with my priest, I fear that I am going to lose interest in the game again (particularly as I also just bought Dragon Age: Origins, which is a single-player WoW knockoff).
I would find very helpful a Beginner’s Guide to Endgame written by an experienced paladin for players who have newly reached endgame. What am I supposed to be doing now? Just running heroics and then ultimately joining up with 10/25 man raid groups? Focusing on rep with the Icecrown/SP factions? Where exactly should I start? What is gear-appropriate for a newly-minted 80 and what is currently out of my reach?

Hey Chad that’s a great idea! Would be a bit of a comprehensive guide, but something I definitely would like to do nwo that you mention it.
Going to have to do a bit of research on some things…but first I’d have to say gear and gold. Gear so you can jump into raiding or PvP, whichever you prefer…and gold to cover the cost of the items you’ll need…such as flasks, potions, glyphs, etc.
I’d also recommend making sure you have your dual talent spec as holy or prot so that taking you into a raid or group makes you that much more lucrative and viable.
Focus on ret gear first, and add pieces of the others as they come.

another guide u can do is the retribution paladin guide on elitist jerks that guide helped me sooooo much when i first hit 80 i mean seriously all i had been getting before was stuff with stamina so i didnt die and stuff with spell power to make my judgement hit harder XD
but i liked that guide so much that ive read it from start to finish about 8 times it explaines what u should look for on gear and stuff like that now it doesnt state pre raid gear but hopefully khor can come up with something
now khor all i need is a site like this one that is for balance druids XD
