Auction House and Economy Watch

Alright guys, Patch 3.3.3 is bring some changes, and if you want to make some money in the Auction House, now is the time to start paying attention.  While I did a Frozen Orb post not too long ago, I am going to take a further look at what these pre-Cataclysm changes mean.

Titanium Bars and Tailoring Cloth

The cooldowns for Titanium Bars, Spellweave, Ebonweave, and Moonshroud have been removed.  Watch the AH closely, and the closer we get to 3.3.3, the lower these prices will get.  I am labeling these as ‘sell now’ items, because once the cooldowns are removed, there will be a flood of them in the AH.

However, with people making all these items, the mats to make them might go up in price.  Titanium Ore and Eternals are bound to see price increases.

Frozen Orbs

Frozen Orbs will now be able to be used as currency, so expect these to go in price significantly as well.  Already 25g or so on my server.  These may go down in price the closer we get to Cataclysm, but with the ability to use them to purchase Runed Orbs and Crusader Orbs, the demand will hold steady for several months.

Runed Orbs & Crusader Orbs

Purchaseable for one Frozen Orb.  Or so the PTR says at the moment.  Expect these prices to go DOWN.  Make a profit while you can and sell now.  There is a chance they could go up in price if enough people gobble them up to craft items, so watch the AH closely.

Everything will be connected to each other in one way or another.  It will be an interesting first couple weeks on the AH when Patch 3.3.3 goes live.

Mm, thanks for the advice. I guess that’s why my random pugs have started needing on those orbs.
