Retribution Paladin Best in Slot (BiS) PvP Gear

Current as of WoW Patch 3.2 and Arena Season 7

me, this is a dream set, and it may be forWhen I see this Ret Paladin PvP set, I feel like I am looking at something way up in the sky. For many of you as well. But with a little hard work and determination,it is very attainable, save for a couple of the top end pieces (weapons).

This is current as of Patch 3.2, and Arena Season 7 as far as I can tell. If anyone else has any input on certain upgrades for a particular slot, let me know! Good luck!

Chest – Relentless Gladiator’s Scaled Chestpiece
Gloves – Relentless Gladiator’s Scaled Gauntlets
Helm – Relentless Gladiator’s Scaled Helm
Legs – Relentless Gladiator’s Scaled Leggaurds
Shoulders – Relentless Gladiator’s Scaled Shoulders
Bracers – Relentless Gladiator’s Bracers of Triumph
Waist – Relentless Gladiator’s Girdle of Triumph
Boots – Relentless Gladiator’s Greaves of Triumph
Cloak – Relentless Gladiator’s Cloak of Triumph
Neck – Relentless Gladiator’s Pendant of Triumph

I’m curious as to what kind of gems you use in your PvP set, I’ve been told to gem for str/stam, but what about resilience?

As a paladin you dont need alot of ress.

I;m playing 3n3 with pve gear atm. They always kill me as 3rd.
Our druid needs ress like hell tbh!

So i would say go for str!

You can’t just use all the top end PvP gear and say it is BiS. Unless you are gemming and enchanting for Hit, you will be way under the cap and thus not be able to hit anything.Swap out the furious ring for perhaps the Bloodshed PvE ring and pick up the necka and back that have hit and then you can gem/enchant for important things like strength.

That’s a very good point! Yes, +hit does matter a great deal. While PvP gear and a PvP BiS list can vary tremendously from player to player, I opted to list the top tier gear as the highest item level for each slot.

So while you are correct in that these would not be ideal to work together, it really varies on gemming, enchants, and other pieces of gear in different combinations. Thus a set BiS list is nigh impossible to create.

So this list just has to be viewed as the top item level for each slot in regards to PvP gear.

ok first of all pvp hit cap is only 5% or 4% if your draenei so hit isnt hard to come by and they make str+ hit gems now adays so hit isnt top prioirty basically the more resil the better but the 10str and 15 stam is over all best cut for pvp ret pally
