If your dps is low it’s most likely because you lack the skill, gear and buffs do have their place but missing to hit certain abilities quickly enough by just tenths of a second can over the course of the fight result in the same dps loss as not even having any gems in any socket and/or being unenchanted completely.

@ Druidxhalen I see your point and agree. But the only reason as to why they should bring back world PvP is to keep players from just staying in one place.
Ide hate to just stay and wait for a BG, ide rather get a couple mates and go gank some people x)
Also if you have tried those big world PvPs over towns and cities it was one of the major funnest things that can be done in WoW.
And as for ganking lowbies, it is up to you to join a PvP realm, if you want to take the risk then take it, if you dont go join a Normal realm.

I started playing wow about 4 months ago.

Currently I have an Ilvl 393 PVE gear. Most of my gear I bought from the Valor point guy with the exception of my shoulders and chest which I dropped from DS.

I can get about 20 – 27 k dps on a training dummy.

For reforging I always make sure I reforge my hast to CAP my hit at 8, expertise 26, and the rest i usually try to reforge to mastery and crit.

Strength is key I buy all Strength gems. The more strength the better.

The buffs I use are Seal or Truth and Might.

My rotation can change depending on how many holy powers I have saved up but top priority to least are:

Inq (always making sure this is up)
Zea (requires 3 holy power)
TV (which requires 1 holy power)
CS (which generates 1 holy poer)
HoW (which requires 1 holy power)
Exo (when lit up it’s an instant cast)
judge

AOE:
HW
Cons

This works best for me, be aware exo and con use tons of mana.

I’d just like to say im a level 59 dranei ret paladin iv been playin wow about a month now i brought a game card because i just really enjoy it i don’t really know how to fully utilize my paladins abilities just yet but reading these posts helped me choose what i consider the best class so thank you it has made wow a much better experience for me and im sure once im 85 il know a lot more so to every1 who takes the time to help noobs like me out THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU 😀 wow wouldn’t be the same with out these posts and the community it is built on so again thank you very much.

PVE: Seal of truth always unless 4+ mobs, when 4+ seal of righteousness with mastery stacked and divine storm procing it off as well, we are quite capable of leading aoe fights.

PVP: Truth will be the major player, as you should only ever be single targeting. That being said righteousness in’t even an option. Seal of insight seems to get highly under rated for usefulness, i am an avid arena ret pally and have to say i have won many fights do to self heals from insight. I personally get around 3k heal per hit and seeming as we spam melee abilities it stacks quite fast. It’s not always the way to go, but when your opponent is melee heavy and will be close to hit often, it’s definately note worthy. Seal of justice only for EFC’s, arena healers , and siege vehicles in appropriate battlegrounds, demo’s move at 200% so knocking them down to walk speed is very beneficial
