Went from doing 8k in 5 mans to just over 5k with some wind up on same bosses. While I will most likely give that Retribution FCFS addon a try just to see if my maybe my timing is off, but I wonder what those of you who are doing 10-12k are doing that is so different from the rest of us? I also wonder if Mastery is what is separating us. AS of right now I'm sitting at 0 mastery rating, giving me the baseline 8% for the hand of light proc. What is everyone else s mastery at? All in all I absolutely love the changes I believe it will for lack of a better term separate the bad from the exceptional Which I think you will all agree ret has been in dire need for some time now. I don't believe that rets will be that viable in long battles. The only reason why my dps reached that level is because the boss was down even before my Zelatory finished. I'm not impressed with the changes. If the intention was to remove fcfs. It failed and made the ret look like a retard . Another thing - did anyone have issues with Exo proc's? Gets a lot better once you got your items reforge and you get comfortable with your aoe and single target rotations. Im runnign around with ilvl gear still in place. 5.1k GS and doing 6.2k GS on Dummies. Having 264 gear head to toe just doesnt seem right when the mage next to me in 245 gear is out dpsing me by miles. Heres to hoping blizz. gets that buff to us rets soon!
