With Patch 4.1 I think Deathcharged Wristguards from Bloodlord Mandokir in Zul’Gurub would now be 2nd on the list. I believe they’d still fall just below the Heroic Alpha Bracers because of the Alpha Bracers’ gem slot which provides a net gain of +8 Strength with a Bold Inferno Ruby. The Wristguards would of course come in handy for other stats (saving some reforging) as well as the favored iLevel.

The Vicious Gladiators Armplates are better than anythig u have on the list. +49 stam and +53 Str. I’m already hit and exp capped so I reforged the haste into crit and because the Vicious shoulders are better than anythig too, i have those epuipped as well giving an extra +70 str. I am doing about 11k in heroics.

couldnt vicious gladiator’s armplates of alacrity also be put into that list considering hoe easy they are to get all you need to do is win five rated battlegrounds or arenas

I’m not sure why or how you are getting the cooled bracers slightly better than alpha bracers. The latest stat weights posted on EJ show the alpha bracers being more dps on both scales. The bottom line is that hit is greater than expertise, and the crit doesn’t make up for it, especially when you factor in a 40str gem in the gem slot of the alpha bracers. An item with a gem slot is better than an item without one 9/10 times.

OKay, checked bracers and I saw defense bracers. Yes, they could be used for DPS, but I am trying not to list tank items. To keep things simple, I try to list DPS specific items. While some tank pieces can be more DPS in certain situations, I really try not to implement them.

Why do none of your BiS posts have faction rep reward purples in them? This I would still consider “pre raid” and easy rewards since they just come from grinding 🙂 Just a tip, thanks a lot!
