Retribution Paladins Patch 4.0.6

Updated 2/8/2011! Patch 4.0.6 notes are out, and just about everything in the related to Paladins is affecting Retribution Paladins.  I am liking the changes, and we’ll see how they evolve in the develop/mental stages of this patch.  Retribution is doing some decent DPS, but I think Blizzard does want us up a little bit more.  You can see them tweaking this very carefully with the Crusader Strike change.

Let’s take a look at the Patch 4.0.6 Notes in their current state, and I will try and update this as often as possible.  Here are the Patch 4.0.6 Retribution Paladin specific notes: [Source]

Retribution Paladins Patch 4.0.6

  • The mana costs of Blessing of Might and Blessing of Kings have been increased by approximately 217%, making them roughly equal to the cost of Mark of the Wild.
  • Crusader Strike weapon damage percent has been increased to 135%, up from 115%.
  • Divine Light mana cost has been increased by approximately 10%.
  • Divine Plea now lasts for 9 seconds, down from 15. It grants 4% mana per tick, instead of 2%, for a total of 12% mana, up from 10%.
  • Flash of Light mana cost has been increased by approximately 10%.
  • Forbearance
    • The duration has been lowered to 1 minute, down from 2.
    • Lay on Hands now causes Forbearance on the target. It used to only cause it when cast on the paladin. This was an old design from when Divine Protection caused Forbearance and the paladin didn’t want to prevent a tank from using their defensive cooldown.
    • Lay on Hands cannot be a critical effect and will not be affected by most abilities which modify healing (such as Beacon of Light).
    • Since only Divine Shield, Lay on Hands and Hand of Protection cause Forbearance, the tooltips have been adjusted to better explain the mechanic.
  • Holy Light mana cost has been increased by approximately 10%.
  • Holy Wrath no longer counts nearby critters when dividing damage among its targets.
  • Inquisition is no longer dispellable.
  • Lay on Hands cannot be a critical effect and will not be affected by most abilities which modify healing (such as Beacon of Light). In addition, Lay on Hands is no longer on the global cooldown.
  • Rebuke can now be trained by all paladins at level 54. Existing characters will need to visit their trainer, even if they had talented Rebuke before.
  • Seal of Truth: All single target attacks (including Judgement, Hammer of Wrath, Exorcism, and Templar’s Verdict) can now trigger this seal.

Retribution Talent Specializations

  • Act of Sacrifice will no longer cause Cleanse to remove movement impairing effects from vehicles the paladin is riding.
  • Divine Purpose: The chance for applicable abilities to generate Holy Power has been reduced to 7/15%, down from 20/40%, but instead of generating 1 Holy Power, the next applicable ability used consumes no Holy Power and acts as if the paladin has 3 Holy Power.
  • Divine Storm weapon damage percent increased from 80% to 100%.
  • Hand of Light (Mastery): A percentage of the damage done by Templar’s Verdict, Crusader Strike, and Divine Storm is done as additional Holy damage. This Mastery now grants a 2.1% increase to Holy damage per mastery, down from 2.5%. (Default 8 Mastery yields 16.8% increase in damage, down from 20%)
  • Repentance is no longer broken from damage done by Censure (Seal of Truth).
  • Seals of Command will no longer trigger twice on each swing with Seal of Truth.
  • The Rebuke talent has been replaced with a new passive talent, Sacred Shield. Paladins who had Rebuke before will automatically have Sacred Shield. Sacred When reduced below 30% health, paladins gain the Sacred Shield effect. The Sacred Shield absorbs X damage and increases healing received by 20%. Lasts 15 seconds. This effect cannot occur more than once every 30 seconds. Undispellable.
  • Zealotry is no longer dispellable.

Glyphs

  • Glyph of Divine Plea now adds 6% mana, for a total of 18% over 9 seconds.

Bug Fixes

  • The Silence debuff from Avenger’s Shield was using the Dazed visual effect, and its Daze debuff did not have a visible effect. This has been remedied.
  • The damage bonus from Communion is no longer applied even when the paladin has no paladin auras active.
  • Divine Storm no longer incorrectly highlights when Hand of Light procs.
  • Exorcism automatically re-targets whomever it does damage to when it finishes casting.
  • The healing amount in the buff tooltip for Holy Radiance is now accurate.
  • Pursuit of Justice is now providing Holy Power when the paladin gets stunned by the Fire mage talent Impact. Conversely, Pursuit of Justice is no longer granting Holy Power when the Paladin is hit by Holy Wrath.
  • Repentance tooltip now states that it does not break Censure damage.
  • Rank 1 of Shield of the Templar was reducing the cooldown of Guardian of Ancient Kings by 45 seconds, which is inconsistent with the scaling of ranks 2 and 3. This has been adjusted.
  • The tooltip for Tower of Radiance indicated that Holy Light would generate a charge of Holy Power. This has been fixed.
  • Word of Glory no longer resets the swing timer.

Glyph Fixes

  • The damage-over-time effect of Exorcism added by Glyph of Exorcism is now correctly affected by Exorcism’s damage.
  • The tooltip for Holy Wrath is now updated to reflect changes when Glyph of Holy Wrath is active.
  • The Glyph of Light of Dawn is now updating the tooltip for Light of Dawn.
  • The Glyph of Seal of Insight now requires level 32 to be consistent with when Seal of Insight can be learned from the trainer.
  • The Glyph of Templar’s Verdict is now updating the tooltip of Templar’s Verdict.

Blessings Change

Nothing really special here.  I guess they are just balancing this with Mark of the Wild?  Didn’t know there was an outcry from the Druids on the mana cost of buffs, but oh well…

Crusader Strike

This should help our DPS a little.  The boost to 135% isn’t gigantic, but it should provide some decent extra damage output.  This will also help tanks in maintaining threat, and dishing out a little punishment on the side.

Divine Plea

Shorter for more mana.  Sounds great to me.  This seems geared at healers, because let’s face it…not many tanks and Ret Paladins are finding themselves constantly out of mana.  Since the healing debuff on Divine Plea probably hindered healing intense fights, shortening this should help Holy Paladins keep up with high damage, and mana intensive fights.

Rebuke

This was a much needed change, specifically for Protection Paladins.  THose of us off-speccing as a tank desperately needed an interrupt other than Avenger’s Shield and Hammer of Justice.  Don’t forget to visit your trainer!

Divine Purpose

So Divine Purpose stays where it is, and gains the old functionality of Hand of Light.  Basically, it will be a flat 15% chance to proc 3 Holy Power (though not actually), and Templar’s Verdict, Zealotry, Word of Glory, and Inquisition will gain a free use.  Not sure how well the 15% will factor in, but I think it should function very similar to what it does now.

Hand of Light

This is the doozy.  Going to see some good damage here, and we will know more about how valuable Mastery rating is.  I haven’t seen any numbers yet, but the PTR should give us a good idea soon enough.  The question is, what percentage of the dmaage from TV, CS, and DS will be additional Holy damage…more to come…

Repentance

Good for both Protection and Retribution Paladins. That stray, “I don’t know how SoT wound up on the CC” should no longer be a factor.

Glyph of Divine Plea

Nifty mana boost, and may see more utility.

Patch 4.0.6 Khor’s Update 1/8/11

Alright guys, I got my first taste of Patch 4.0.6.  The usual resetting of talent points awaited me, and I scurried to fill out my Retribution Tree.  The first thing I noticed is that Rebuke wasn’t out of the talent tree yet, at least not at the time of this post.  I expected it to be gone, and see Sacred Shield in its place.

Second, the tooltip for Templar’s Verdict had gone from 3 Holy Power at 235% to 3 Holy Power at 270%.  That’s a HUGE change if it is true, but I want to verify that that isn’t a tooltip error.

Third, Crusader Strike up to 135% is a nice change.  I wasn’t seeing massive hits from the difference, but the increase definitely was there.

Mastery

Mastery now adds 2.5%  of damage done by Templar’s Verdict, Crusader Strike, and Divine Storm as Holy damage per 1 point of Mastery.  So, by default, we start with 8 Mastery, giving us a flat 20% boost to the aforementioned damage sources.  This is HUGE.  For one, it should place Templar’s Verdict back above Hammer of Wrath and Exorcism on the FCFS list (we won’t even mention the 270%, if it is true).

Also, this Mastery change skyrockets its value WAY past Critical Strike and Haste, which still seem to have relatively equal value and importance.  I’m not sure on exact numbers, but the difference is significant.  We will see how much this changes over time.

Patch 4.0.6 Update 1/12/11

Added the updated notes.   The biggest change to me is the Seal of Truth changes, where Judgement, HoW, Exorcism, and Templar’s Verdict can now proc the seal.  This will allow for quicker ramp-ups to 5 stacks, and should help optimize DPS.

Also, Forebearnace going down to 1 minute is outstanding for every Paladin spec.  Jumping from 2 minutes down to 1 minute should be great, particularly for Holy and Protection Paladins.

In addition, from testing on the PTR, I have not seen the new Hand of Light damage from TV, CS, and DS result in any critical strike damage thus far.  I’ve seen some similar findings on EJ.  I’m curious if this is intended, and if Blizz intends to change this in the near future.  We will see.

Patch 4.0.6 Update 1/13/11

Seals of Command will no longer trigger twice on each swing with Seal of Truth. Just added this to noted.  Only change thus far in the most recent 4.0.6 note changes.

Patch 4.0.6 Update 1/15/11

Added:

  • Divine Storm weapon damage percent increased from 80% to 100%.
  • Hand of Light (Mastery): A percentage of the damage done by Templar’s Verdict, Crusader Strike, and Divine Storm is done as additional Holy damage. This Mastery now grants a 2.1% increase to Holy damage per mastery, down from 2.5%.

The Divine Storm change is a welcome one.  Not sure it will pack enough punch to alleviate all those AoE concerns, but at least it is a start.

The Mastery change actually surprises me a little.  With other DPS classes putting out so much DPS, I thought the 2.5% would help us jump into the mix.  Maybe Blizzard has other intentions, or sees things differently.  I wasn’t noticing a titanic DPS boost, but it was nice while it lasted.

Still more changes incoming, I am sure, so we’ll have to wait and see what comes next.

Patch 4.0.6 Update 1/24/11

Added:

  • Divine Light mana cost has been increased by approximately 10%.
  • Flash of Light mana cost has been increased by approximately 10%.
  • Holy Light mana cost has been increased by approximately 10%.
  • Lay on Hands cannot be a critical effect and will not be affected by most abilities which modify healing (such as Beacon of Light). In addition, Lay on Hands is no longer on the global cooldown.

The big change here (if we can call it big) is the fact that LoH no longer crits.  These changes were pretty much aimed at Holy Paladins, though I’m scratching my head as to why our mana use is getting bumped up.  If anything, the other healing classes need to be brought up to our efficiency…but hey, I’m a Ret at heart.  I’ll leave the Holy arguments for another day!  I am sad on the Beacon LoH not transferring…that sucks.

Comments

  1. cfeduke says:

I read that mastery is 2.5% additional holy damage per 1% of mastery. Thus base 8% mastery gives you 20% holy damage and each full 1% of mastery is another 2.5%. I have read both that this is bonus damage (added to the regular) and just a chunk of the regular damage (normal damage substituted by holy damage). Its seems likely that the latter is what it will be.

Also there is a new meta that grants Strength – Reverberating Shadowspirit Diamond (Strength/3% critical damage) but how much Strength is unknown. The meta is a BoE recipe that drops from any Cataclysm creature.

Finally the meta gem requirements have been adjusted to require 3 red gems instead of more blue than red.

  2. Agonus says:

Any word on when this patch is going to go live?

  3. Milos says:

You missed Sacred Shield revamp and making of it and Zealotry undispellable. Things that will help our survivability immensely.

    * The Rebuke talent has been replaced with a new passive talent, Sacred Shield.
    * Zealotry is no longer dispellable.

  4. Khor says:

Thanks Milos, I was looking at the updated notes and must have skipped over that part! Good catch!

And I updated the PTR client and copied my Paladin over, so hopefully I’ll get to see some of this first-hand when I get off work tonight.

  5. trensar says:

when this patch will be in game?

  6. trensar says:

    this week?

  7. Khor says:

No, I’m sure it will sit in the PTR for awhile, not for a couple weeks minimum I would guess.

  8. Traff says:

    hmm …

Templar’s Verdict % of weapon damage increased for all levels of Holy Power. At three Holy Power it now will hit for 270% weapon damage (up from 235%)

  9. Shogan says:

Look forward to the update Khor, yours that is on your experiences in the PTR. TBH at this point I have given up on Ret. ATM I am tanking for both PvE and PvP. It is fun but I really do miss Ret, so I really hope these changes are going to bring about the balance we lack.

However, I do have to say that Rebuke being a learned talent through our Class Trainer is a very welcome welcome change. The fact that our OS can now make use of a non GCD interupt is awesome. Will certainly make the first boss fight in Shadowfang Keep easier when you do not have an ideal group, not to mention PvP.

Hope to hear your thoughts on the changes soon 🙂

  10. Raikalo says:

Good work, Khor. I don’t hit the forums much, so I always appreciate the patch notes specific to the Retadin community.

The flat 20%+ damage boost from Mastery seems like one of the best things Blizzard has ever done for us. Also, the Rebuke ability as a talent was rather annoying. Blizz has amazed me so far.

Hope the server stuff gets sorted out for ya. Donations on the way!…when I get paid. 😛

  11. Raikalo says:

Also, from the current patch notes from your listed source: Here…

    1) Nothing is mentioned about Repentance not breaking from Censure.

    2) Zealotry/Inquisition are not listed as being non-dispellable anymore.

    3) No Word of Glory bug fix.

    4) Rebuke talent isn’t listed as being redesigned/no longer a talent.

Did they edit the patch notes?

  12. Varrex says:

TV is not hitting harder the tooltip is factoring in the glyph if you remove the glyph the damage is still 235…

  13. Khor says:

Ah see, there ya go. Thanks Varrex!

  14. Khor says:

@ Raikalo, I’m looking into it. I actually was pulling from an outdated patchnotes page that is now locked it seems. The current one is online and I will try to match them up!

  15. Khor says:

Okay, ya, the link source was the locked thread/post. I changed it to the current, up-to-date page!

  16. Goff256 says:

In your opinion, would this be the time to make one again? I had been playing one for a long time, and then quit when 4.0.1 hit. Whether it was the long wait times for a queue or the sheer fact that I realized I was obviously a bad player (I died a lot), I don’t know.

I asked for help on the forums and got told to reroll something else, that Ret Paladins were broken. Are they somewhat fixed?

    Thank you. 🙂

  17. Khor says:

@ Goff – Well, we aren’t broken…but currently aren’t competing well enough on the DPS charts. The best part about playign a Paladin is that you can fill any of the three combat roles: DPS, heals, tank.

I think practice makes perfect, and with a little research, I bet any player can be very good as a Ret! In terms of making another Ret Paladin…well, if you deleted the old one, then you have a fun journey ahead of you with the new leveling experience! I’ll always say roll a Paladin, but I’m a little biased 🙂

  18. Goff256 says:

Might as well start another one, then.

Of course, since I have this place bookmarked I’ll be using this as one of my primary points of reference. 🙂

  19. raikalo says:

Thanks for fixing the link. I was totally confused as to the patch notes, lol.

  20. lordmogg says:

    Am I missing xomething here?

Is Rebuke now just a passive shield? or Do you still have to activate it? And does it actually interrupt now?

I think im reading this wrong?

  21. jueejuaR says:

After visiting this site for quite a while I think it’s time to leave a comment ;p

Ret isn’t broken at all imo… It just needs some little tweaking after 4.0.3.
For now I’m pretty happy with the dps.

Atm my iLevel is 351 with 7,85% hit and 27 exp.
Last night I’d hit an average of 16k dps on raid bosses in Blackwing Descent 10-man… And I got a feeling 4.0.6 will get us much higher

  22. Raedos says:

The dps we deal will depend on our holy power generation, i think it will be better because hand of light previously was around 12% proc rate for me which is on about a 3.2 second timer cause of weapon speed). And this new 15% proc rate which is on a 1 to 1.5 second timer cause of the GCD, but we lose our 40% chance to get 1hp with every skill. I havent tried to calculate it out, but I think this new setup will generate more holy power, anyone elses thoughts?

If we do generate more holy power, our dps will skyrocket as our skills are already hitting harder.

  23. Matrlx says:

The dps is well boosted with this patch even im very happy with my current dps doing on a single target from 15k drop to 12 or 11k and thats on hc dungeon not in raid … in raid im close to a warrior doing 18k to 20 k dps with the new patch hmmm dunno looking forward 😀

Who think the Ret pally is broken i say to him learn more or dont go Ret paladin
(sorry for my English 😀 )

  24. Milos says:

    @Matrix
You know there is a community beside PvE, PvE is not the only aspect of WoW.
And in PvP ret is atm just broken. Totally. Most of patch changes are meant to be exclusively for PvP. CS and TV (which is actually boosted to 270% but it’s not yet implemented on PTR) are minor boosts, and mastery redesign was really necessary, coz previous mastery scaling was rendering it completely useless. Everything else is for PvP. Luckily devs finally realized this.

  25. raikalo says:

    @lordmogg

Rebuke IS an interrupt, and it is still an activated ability. It’s always been one. It’s simply not a talented ability now, so that Holy and Tankadins can have a powerful interrupt.

  26. Sagit says:

Something I noticed about the PTR mastery is that it isn’t scaling with Inquisition at this point (which it it should, but it’s one of the number of things not updated on the PTR). As far as I can tell, Holy Power generation is slower than slow (to me), and the new Divine Purpose is very, very RNG dependent. I’ve gone over 2 minutes without a DP proc. That being said, I pull a good 3k more DPS on the dummy because of the new mastery (which is it’s own separate damage count if you’re looking at recount/skada/etc)

I’m still waiting for Sacred Shield, but I still think prot will be the only viable DPS PvP build because if they increase the rest of our damage more, then retadins are going to be breaking the DPS charts in raids.

  27. Puckett says:

@Milos….you really couldn’t be more wrong about RET being broken in PVP. It’s not, it’s actually very very powerful. But it’s super duper gear and skill dependent. My primary experience is random BGs and a new 2v2 Arena team, but I hold my own very very well.

These changes are only gonna add to the fun and awesomeness of RET. But I seem to be in a minority with these opinions. Just my 2 coppers.

    Thanks.

  28. neo says:

you also seemed to miss out on seal of truth
Seal of Truth: All single target attacks (including Judgement, Hammer of Wrath, Exorcism, and Templar’s Verdict) can now trigger this seal.
that should give us abit more damage too

  29. Gnarlie says:

YAY! Iv been waiting for this. I dont like being my guilds go to healbot.
Paladin as a raid healer is the dumbest thing ever. Thankfully i can go back to ret soon 😀
I have no probs in PVP except survivability and im not that great geared.

  30. JJ says:

yeah really glad about this been sick of only pulling mediocre dps in hc’s the damage increase should make ret playable again

  31. lordmogg says:

    @ raikalo

I know it interrupts and always has but my question is more about this “Sacred Shield”

It states that rebuke is being replaced by this. Would we spam Sacred Shield instead of rebuke now or will there be both?

Will Sacred Shield only kick in if Rebuke is activated etc etc

  32. Sagit says:

    @lordmogg

Rebuke is becoming a base skill for all specs of paladins, ie trainable from a Paladin trainer. Sacred Shield is just replacing Rebuke on the talent sheet.

Sacred Shield tooltip-When reduced below 30% health, paladins gain the Sacred Shield effect. The Sacred Shield absorbs X damage and increases healing received by 20%. Lasts 15 seconds. This effect cannot occur more than once every 30 seconds. Undispellable.

So, yes we can get both. Rebuke will just be our “kick”, while SS will give some PvP survivability (will help in raids too).

  33. Puckett says:

@Neo, where did you read about SoT’s applied increase from our abilities? That is AWESOME!!!!! and just more fuel to the fire about why SoT is our best seal, IMHO.

  34. Shogan says:

    @lordmogg

Rebuke will work as it does now, those who do not have it can learn it from our Class trainer. So your everyday Tank and Healer also gain this ability.

Sacred Shield – this will replace Rebuke in the talent tree. It will work very much like the old style Argent Defender did in the old Protection tree. It is a PASSIVE ability, there is no spamming or need to press any button to activate it.
So once your health drops below 30% a certain amount of damage will be adsorbed (will not reduce you health) and healing done to you will be increased by 20%.

  35. lordmogg says:

thanks Shogan and Sagit. I like this sheild thing more and more.

it will help when our burst damage gets too much for the tank and you have already cast your hand to reduce threat.

    these changes are positive.

Although im at level 85 now and currently trying to complete all quests in the new cata. i think these changes will see most influence in raids and heroics. I already down most other mobs in seconds otherwise.

    thanks again guys

  36. Shane says:

The human racial trait Every Man for Himself has been reverted back to a 2-minute cooldown, down from 3 minutes.

This is way cool to for us that like to PVP.. I dont think anyone has mentioned this yet, but i saw it in the patch notes and got excited again.

  37. neo says:

@puckett in the latest patch notes on wow site http://us.battle.net/wow/en/blog/2011384#blog

  38. Khor says:

Yep, I updated the page here as well to reflect the most recent notes! Thank my most recent stomach bug for the day delay!

    Yum Yum SoT changes 🙂

  39. Sagit says:

In addition, from testing on the PTR, I have not seen the new Hand of Light damage from TV, CS, and DS result in any critical strike damage thus far. I’ve seen some similar findings on EJ. I’m curious if this is intended, and if Blizz intends to change this in the near future. We will see.

What you say here is kind of misleading. It doesn’t crit on it’s own, but it does take crits into account on TV, CS, and DS. You can tell due to occasionally with all trinket procs up, you get a TV that crits for 50k or so, and the resulting HoL damage will be 21k or possibly higher instead of the normal damage.

  40. Khor says:

Correct Sagit, what I meant was that the resulting Holy damage from Hand of Light doesn’t crit itself. Critical damage from TV , CS, and DS, etc will result in much higher Hand of Lights since the % will still apply to the normal critical dmg.

  41. Marko says:

Mastery already NERFED from 2.5% to 2.1% That is significant. Blizz loves to dangle and then take away. Anytime RET starts to be RET it get’s nerfed. Expect the other OP’ed classes to complain as we get better and expect another nerf – i’ve seen it for the past 6 years. It is the Blizzard way.

  42. Boiya says:

Nice mini update but we’ll see how the other classes get nerfed. When a Warrior tank’s dps is nearly double that of yours, you have to wonder what Blizzard was smoking.

I have iLevel of 346 and on a boss training dummy can only pump out 8900 over a five minute period. Priest friends get 10K+, Everyone has been minimum 2k above us on DPS. (p.s only buff i have is might)

    Or is it just me?

  43. Neo says:

funny how cuz we are a hybrid class the pure dps classes have a cry when we get even remotely close to their dps, i dont care if we top of dps charts, just aslong as we can compete with other classes to make us desirable to take to raid, this exp i have not had a chance to raid so i dont know where we sit, talk to a mate and he reckon top dps are over 30k dps i cant see myself doing that much in a raid though.

  44. Neo says:

    sit*

  45. raikalo says:

I don’t feel like the nerf to the PTR mastery is that big of a deal. Sure, it’s 0.4% per mastery point, but in reality we were buffed almost everywhere else.

  46. raikalo says:

Oh, have they changed the Rebuke talent out yet? I haven’t been on the PTR lately.

  47. ganos says:

First i can confirm that pvp ret is prolly still gunna be crappy after the patch…For pve ret is alrdy awesome i think. I sit on top of my guild raid dps charts for alot of fights. Yeah dps is really random but its still pretty decent. Learn to play ret in pve and you should do great too. As for pvp absorbing 25-28k dmg once every 30 sec is noticeable but still kinda weak to me. To compensate, the dps increase will still b nerfed because we will have to spam WoG again n waste our holy powers. No good gap closing r added n cleanse can’t remove 80% of ccs + ull prefer using HOF on ur other dps( in 3s n 5s) because they will do the dmg while u try to heal. Prot dmg is gunna be weaker but with 5 defensive cds n rebuke now its way more useful in arena teams than ret is. Id say lets just wait to see how HOL scales with INQ n if i can do more than 10k crits on warriors but for now pvp changes r not making us ret a good pvp spec.

  48. Alde says:

I’ve been following your “rosy” estimations of all the changes that Blizz comes out with and frankly I don’t get you. Ret is in the crapper and their ‘fix’ for Ret sucks! Read this and address the real issues for our class.
    http://us.battle.net/wow/en/forum/topic/1567930496?page=1

  49. Rabee says:

These changes will benifit pve alot more than pvp. The sacred shield though it will help us live a little longer and may help us a decent amount against warriors and dk’s. It will not make a difference against anything that is going to kite us because we cannot get close enough to stack any hp to heal. Here is how I think ret should be like word of glory moved to the holy tree its a healing spell for a healing class ret doesnt need an instant heal. we need passive healing
on our judgement back. Basically make it like bloodthirst, aswell as bring back sacred shield as something that we always have active for a constant dmg reduction just like MS warriors 10% dmg reduction in their arms stance. I also think it would benifit to have our judgement reduce our targest movement speed by 20% For better gap closure since our current set up doesnt work very well. I know giving judgement all of these abilities seems kind of op but what else could they do give us a charge or dg lol? This would boost our dmg significantly aswell since we can use our hp for dmg instead of having to constantly use it all for word of glory to do nothing but postpone the inevitable. If You need to heal its called bubble or use repetence and have at it.

  50. Milos says:

    @Rabee
While I agree with most of your points, bubble atm is just useless for healing since ret mana-based healing is just broken. Bubble+bandage works better but even that one brings you only to 50% health in 8s (with SS buf), and that only if there is no priest in other comp to mass dispel or warrior to shatter. Plus it’s on gcd.
Bubble as it is atm, is used mainly to remove all debufs and dots, and for burst mitigation and that’s it.
