It basically has the same functionality as most of today's smartphones and netbooks. If I want to go on the internet when I'm not around my pc/laptop I'll use my phone, there's no use in carrying a tablet around just to do that. The only reason people will buy this because it's from Apple and the marketing machine is working it's magic. There are many alternative tablets which offer more functionality (USB, multitasking, build-in camera and more). I would only buy a tablet if it will do anything a laptop can, including running pc games. Only then I feel there's a reason to buy it. The iPad? well lets be honest its a iPod Touch with a bigger screen, as far as I understand the iPad even has the same OS. I dont think I will be upgrading anytime soon.
